Lince2D is a beta: work on copies of your important drawings. Please read the license before installing.

Versions

Requirements

• Windows: 64-bit Windows (x64).
• Linux: x86_64 with a graphical desktop (X11 or Wayland). .deb package for Ubuntu 24.04 or later and Debian 13; .tar.gz for everything else.
• A graphics card supporting DirectX 12 or Vulkan is recommended for smooth navigation of large drawings.

Installation

Windows

Run Lince2D-<version>-setup.exe and follow the wizard. It installs the program, help, manual, templates and symbol library, and can be uninstalled from Windows settings.

Ubuntu and Debian

sudo apt install ./lince_<version>_amd64.deb
# to remove it:
sudo apt remove lince

Other Linux distributions

Extract the archive and run lince from its folder; nothing needs to be installed:

tar -xzf lince-<version>-linux-x86_64.tar.gz
cd lince-<version>-linux-x86_64
./lince

Verifying the download

Each version will include a SHA256SUMS.txt file with the checksum of every package. To check it:
